Si ya adquiriste una obra de arte en el pasado o nunca lo habías hecho, en Arte Al Límite te damos útiles consejos para su mantenimiento y cuidado:
Es probable que si manipulas incorrectamente una obra, la sometas a un riesgo de daño. Evita el contacto directo con la pieza en sí. Si se trata de un cuadro, nunca toques la tela; en el caso de una escultura, también evita tocarla una vez instalada en el lugar que deseas exponerla. Evita que le llegue humo, restos de comida y nunca la limpies con productos químicos que usas para el resto de tu casa.
La humedad es tu enemiga, no posiciones una obra en lugares con hongos o propensos a otros tipos de peste. De igual manera, no sometas a una pieza artística a la luz solar directa ni a temperaturas demasiado altas.
Si vas a mover a la obra, siempre utiliza guantes y pide ayuda a alguien más. Prepara el lugar de destino con antelación y asegúrate que existe el espacio suficiente para poder desplazarte con la obra. Si vas a moverte largas distancias, procura empacar con cuidado la obra, con la precaución de no dejarla embalada durante demasiado tiempo.
Una vez seleccionado el muro donde colocaras la obra, asegura que haya un espacio entre ambos, para que circule el aire y no se acumule polvo y suciedad.

If you ever bought a work of art or if you are planning to, in Arte Al Limite we want to provide you with some useful tips for its maintenance and care:
It is possible that if you erroneously handle a piece, it will damage. Avoid the direct contact with the piece itself. If it is a canvas do not ever touch the fabric; if it is a sculpture you should also try not to touch it once you placed it. Try to not expose it to dust, food remains and do not clean it with chemical products used for the house cleaning.
Humidity is your enemy; do not locate a work of art on places that would likely develop humidity or any other kind of fungus. Also, do not expose a piece of art of direct sunlight or extremely high temperatures.
If you are going to relocate the piece, always use gloves and ask someone for help. Set up the place where you will locate the piece and make sure there is the enough space to be able to locate the piece properly. If you are going to move the piece from far distances, make sure to carefully cover the piece, with the caution of not cover it too long.
Once you have selected the place or wall where you want to locate the piece, make sure there is enough space between the wall and the canvas or sculpture for the air to circulate and to avoid the accumulation of dust.
