Marking its third large presentation, PANGUE Video Art Festival is traveling to Governor’s Island in New
York to premiere within the NYLAAT New York Latin American Art Triennial space on July 5th, 2026.
The one-month program is the result of a collaboration among three international art institutions: NYLAAT
(New York), Building Bridges Art Foundation (Los Angeles), and Museo Arte Al Limite (Chile). The festival
will feature 37 international video artists from Mexico, Argentina, United States, Perú, Ecuador, Brazil,
Chile, Colombia, among others.

The Building Bridges Art Foundation in Los Angeles will announce the awards winners for the New York
Edition at the Opening Ceremony on Governor’s Island, July 5th, 2026.
The awards, dedicated to Judson Mock, one of the Board Members of the Foundation in Los Angeles, are
the result of an Open Call from Pangue for artists in New York, New Jersey, and Canada.

International jurors include:
Shana Nys Dambrot (Art Critic and writer, Los Angeles)
Naivy Perez (Artist, Art curator, and co-director of NYLAAT; Director of experimental LOOP)
Felipe Forteza (Art Adviser and AAL Museum Board Member in Chile)
Marisa Caichiolo (Art Curator, co-curator of the Chilean Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2026, and
Founder of Building Bridges Art Foundation)

We are excited to announce this annual traveling festival, established by Building Bridges Art Foundation
in Los Angeles and Museo Arte Al Limite in Chile. The festival is dedicated to showcasing video art that
explores the relationship between humans and vulnerable natural environments.

Curatorial Focus
The festival investigates the evolving relationship between humans and vulnerable natural environments.
A curated program highlights experimental video works that engage with ecological, social, and political
dimensions of contemporary life.
