En La Espera una mujer aguarda junto al teléfono. En su alrededor todo parece iluminar la sala vacía que para entonces gira en torno al teléfono que no suena. Los árboles, raíces y la naturaleza, florecen de sitios impensados para acompañar con destellante brillo una escena expectante.

El trabajo que Pamela Awad realiza con los colores, es un trabajo de convicción y riesgo. La artista pondera sobre sus obras la carga de un título que enmarca y deja caer sobre sus hombros también, el peso de una paleta de color que exige ciertos cánones al estado de ánimo. Todo lo alumbra, y lo hace, con paradoja o no, hasta en las escenas que pudiesen parecer de incertidumbre o desconfianza, o que inspiran un tenor diferente. La cubierta de la naturaleza que nace de cualquier sitio en donde se pose el marco de la obra, surte de contenido instantáneo la narrativa de interpretación: todo lo cubre, todo lo ve, todo lo inunda y se entrega al espectador, se sume en sus brazos para dejar en él una sensación, una reflexión espontánea.

Pamela Award’s work is realized with colors, is a conviction and risk work. The artist extols in her work the burden of a tittle, which defines and leaves in her shoulders the weight of a color palette that require certain canons to the state of mind. All illuminate it and make it with paradox, or not, inclusive in the scenes which may appear of uncertainty or suspicion, or that inspirited a different tenor.
