16 artistas y la imagen manifiesta del rol de la mujer actual. El arte cubano llega directamente a París y es recibido en la sede central del la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (Unesco).
La exposición trajo la visión de los artistas cubanos a ampliar las fronteras con una exhibición que se enmarcó bajo el título de Señales de Cuba: Propuestas Femeninas. La intención de esta movilización y muestra fue mostrar la diversidad, la forma de interpretar el arte y lo heterogéneas que pueden ser las manifestaciones, contemplando el origen de cada uno de sus autores. El lenguaje artístico y la singularidad que ella agregó al evento fue uno de los aspectos que más destacó la comisaria de la exposición, Lisandra Isabel García.
Arte contemporáneo, una selección hecha en pro de la visión global de la integración y de mejorar las condiciones de las muestras de las obras de visión femenina en el mundo. Artistas nacidos entre los años 1949 y 1991, cuyo trabajo técnico y argumentativo fluctúa entre los más diversos temas y técnicas que amplia la imagen al espectador y le abre la mirada a mundos distintos y permite evidenciar que en el país caribeño las artistas están trabajando ejm críticas, argumentos, técnicas y teorías que, no por desconocidas, dejan de ser muy representativas y de alto nivel.
La embajadora de Cuba en Francia también tuvo palabras para esta instancia: «nos permite compartir un mensaje de igualdad de género, de empoderamiento de la mujer, muy a tono con el debate internacional de la agenda de desarrollo sostenible, que tiene dentro de sus pilares básicos la prioridad de los derechos de la mujer», dijo en conferencia.

The exposition shows the vision of Cuban artists which is to expand the boundaries with an exhibition that was defined under the title of Señales de Cuba: Propuestas Femeninas.
The intention of this mobilization and exhibition was to show the diversity, how to interpret art and to show the diverse that can be the manifestations considering the origin of each of the authors. One of the aspects that highlights the curator of the exhibition, Lisandra Isabel García was «the artistic language and the singularity that the artist adds to the exhibition».
