Los momentos de intimidad, las vivencias y los espacios arquitectónicos son los que inspiran al artista Andrés Irarrázaval, quien juega con la geometría y las estructuras, la perspectiva y el surrealismo para crear sus obras y, también, sus poemas.
«Es imprescindible las emociones y sentimientos que surgen dentro de espacios cerrados, es algo conmovedor. Creo que he encontrado una veta muy fuerte en el color para componer. Siempre estoy inspirado para crear pase lo que pase, crear es algo que llevo en la personalidad”.
Los primeros pasos en proyectos artísticos de Andrés Irarrázaval comenzaron luego de egresar de Artes, especialidad Pintura, de la Universidad Finis Terrae, sin embargo, toda su vida ha estado ligada al arte, de alguna u otra forma, y que para el artista visual es una vía única para expresar las cosas que no se pueden decir de otra forma.

Finalizando su carrera tenía una idea en mente: quería proyectar, desde varios paisajes, una identidad que fuera propia, para lo cual conjugó características psicológicas y emocionales de su persona. El resultado fue una obra original y colorida donde se destaca el uso de la perspectiva y el movimiento. “El color fue una de las principales fuentes en las que me basé, el cual he desarrollado al máximo”, señala Andrés refiriéndose a este proyecto. Destacan las construcciones vibrantes de potentes colores cálidos y fríos y el poco uso del negro.
Nombra su estilo como “formalismo abstracto”, dado que define sus piezas como rincones en que habita la vida y donde, a partir del surrealismo, puede crear de forma más abstracta y esencial. Llama Escondrijos Escondites) a los cuadros que mostró en el centro cultural Factoría Santa Rosa, resaltando sus colores prominentes y la perspectiva, en cuya temática se vislumbran escaleras con rumbo indefinido y pinceladas que juegan con la geometría y secretos detrás de las estructuras.

Andrés también ha expuesto para “People Help People” en Santo Domingo, región de Valparaíso, y publicó el libro de antologías de poemas “Escenario Tierra” (Mago Editores) que también refleja el estilo particularmente surrealista y gráfico de este artista:
“Si gigantes son las hojas tan coquetas de tu cielo,
Va la savia ya lamiendo el alma sabia de tu cuerpo.
No tranquilas son las ramas que se encienden en tu pecho,
Ya se ha ido el gran amigo; el pájaro carpintero
Si cantantes son los brotes que despegan de tu velo,
Y tus frutos fluorescentes son amigos ya del cielo”.
Desde profundos sentimientos, hasta personas y experiencias, este pintor y escritor cuenta: “Los momentos que más me inspiran para crear son en los que estoy rodeado de amigos o familiares, pues creo que este arte nace de vivencias, me interesa lo que ocurre dentro de los espacios arquitectónicos y cómo las personas se desenvuelven en él”. De allí que sus temas rodeen habitaciones y lugares cerrados, puesto que generan una atmósfera especial que el artista quiere mostrar y entregar como un obsequio a las personas.

En estos momentos está trabajando en una exposición que se inaugurará el viernes 13 de Noviembre en la galería Banco Negro de Barrio Italia (a las 7: 30 pm, calle Girardi 1126, metro Santa Isabel). “Espero muchos puedan asistir, será mi primera exposición individual”, señala Andrés.{:}{:en}By Petra Harmat / Chile
Moments of privacy, experiences and architectonic spaces are those that inspire the artist Andrés Irarrázaval. He plays with geometry, the structures, the perspective and the surrealism to create his works and also his poems.
«It is imperative the emotions and feelings that arise within closed spaces, is something touching. I think I have found a very strong inspiration in color to compose. Whatever happens, I’m always inspired to create. Creating is something that is in my personality.”
The first steps in art projects of Andres Irarrázaval began after graduating from Arts, specialty in Painting at the Universidad Finis Terrae; however, his whole life has been linked to art in some way or another, and for the visual artist is an unique way to express things that can not be told in other way.

He had an idea in mind when he finished his career: He wanted to project, his own identity from various landscapes, for which he conjugated psychological and emotional characteristics of himself. The result was an original and colorful work where the use of perspective and movement is highlight. «The main source on which I based and I have developed the most was the color,» says Andrés referring to this project. That highlights the vibrant constructions of powerful warm and cool colors and the little use of black.
He names his style as «abstract formalism», because that defines his pieces as corners in which inhabit life and where from surrealism, can create more abstract and essential form. He called Escondrijos Escondites to the portraits exhibited at Centro Cultural Factoría Santa Rosa, highlighting their prominent colors and perspective whose themes glimpsed stairs with indefinite course and brushstrokes play with geometry and secrets behind the structures.

Andres also has exhibited for “People Help People” at Santo Domingo, region of Valparaíso. He also released the book of anthology of poems “Escenario Tierra” (Mago Editores) that also reflects the particularly surrealist and graphic style of this artist:
“If giant are the leaves so flirtatious of your sky,
goes the sap licking the wise soul of your body»

fluorescents fruits are already friends of the sky.”
Since deep feelings, even people and experiences, this painter and writer says: “The moments that inspires me most to create are when I’m surrounded by friends or relatives. I think this art is born of experiences. I’m interested in what happens within the architectural spaces and how people operate in it.» From there, his themes surround rooms and closed areas, because they generate a special atmosphere that the artist wants to show and give as a gift to people.

At the moment he is working on an exhibition that will be inaugurated on Friday November 13 at the Banco Negro gallery at Barrio Italia (at 7: 30 pm, street Girardi 1126, Santa Isabel subway.) «I hope many could assist, it will be my first individual exhibition,» says Andrew.{:}
