In Selva Roja, a woman immerses herself in the Peruvian Amazon to pay homage to the giant tres being felled. Through a transformative performance, she becomes insects, animals, and finally, a black butterfly, symbolizing death and rebirth. With a profound message about the human connection to nature; Selva Roja; invites us to reflect on our relationship with the environment and find a path towards renewal and respect for the land. A poignant call to action, this film inspires us to cherish the Amazon’s beauty and preserve its future.


Born in Peru, 1968.

He studied painting at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

He has held several solo and group exhibitions in Peru, Guatemala, Spain, Argentina, France, Italy, Germany, and the United States. He has exhibited at various museums, including the ICPNA Engraving Museum, the Amano Museum in Lima, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lima, among others.
