Luces y sombras en el trabajo de Wolf Brandt

Wolf Brandt’s photographs catch quotidian; portray the invisible; detail situations we see every day. Because of the rush, because of this frenetic rhythm of the cities that makes life passing without stopping to see. Brandt shows us the hands that want to stand in the bus we –perhaps– were; the man that clean window in street that we everyday walk in;  the neighbor’s dog sunbathing.

The artist plays with shadows and lights, providing dynamism and intensity to his photographs. As movie scenes that one wants to reply. Brandt provokes the memory that we have to open our eyes, that thing that we crossed path are worthies, that sunsets never stop to surprise us. Wolf Brandt has a great ability, and it’s that simple and delicate subjects of his artwork catch the observer and invite it, in its daily living, to observe beyond, because there’s beauty in everything.
