La sede del Parque Forestal del Museo de Arte Contempóráneo (MAC) será el lugar donde se organizará la feria de arte impreso Impresionarte. El evento, a llevarse a cabo entre el 7 y el 9 de octubre, será el primero de su tipo en Chile. A cargo de la organización se encuentran el colectivo La Nueva Gráfica Chilena y Editorial Vortex.
En total los convocados son 50 expositores provenientes de Latinoamérica con más de 100 proyectos editoriales en total. Impresionarte, que forma parte del Mes del Diseño del Consejo de la Cultura y las Artes, tiene como uno de sus principales objetivos abrir el mundo del diseño al público general. Fanzines, grabados, libros y otros tipos de publicaciones serán el foco de encuentro y de reflexión para los expositores y los asistentes.
Luego de un proceso de convocatoria realizado durante julio y agosto en Chile, Brasil, Argentina y Perú, se seleccionaron los 50 participantes. Además de ellos, asistirán al encuentro diversos invitados, quienes dictaran sus propias confrencias. Entre ellos se encuentran el catalán David Quiles y la brasileña Bia Bittencourt. Además, se podrán apreciar las obras de Cecilia Vicuña y Guillermo Deissler, entre otros.
{:}{:en}The headquarters of Parque Forestal park at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) will be the place where is organized the graphic art Impresionarte. The event will be carried out between 7 and 9 of October and it will be the first in its kind in Chile. In charge of the organization there is La Nueva Gráfica Chilena collective and Vortex Editorial.
Attendees are 50 exhibitors from Latin America with more than 100 editorial projects. Impresionarte, that is part of the Design Month of the National Council of Culture and the Arts (CNCA) has as main objective open the design world to the general public. Fanzines, engraving, books and other types of publications will be the focus of reflection to the exhibitors and attendees.
After a call process made during July and August in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Peru, was selected 50 participants. Besides them will attend to the meeting diverse guests, who will make their own conferences. Among them, there are the Catalan David Quiles and the Brazilian Bia Bittencourt. As well as, works of Cecilia Vicuña and Guillermo Deissler could be appreciated.{:}
