Genera#ion es una muestra de arte contemporáneo proveniente de Arabia Saudita que reúne a una nueva generación de artistas árabes, tanto hombres como mujeres, y tiene el objetivo de generar un diálogo de pueblo a pueblo y un mejor entendimiento entre las dos naciones.
Este jueves 11 de agosto GENERA#ION hará su tercera parada de la gira que está realizando en Estados Unidos. En esta oportunidad la muestra se inaugurará en Minnesota Street Projects, el nuevo complejo de la galería ubicado en el ex barrio industrial de Dogpatch en San Francisco.
«En lugar de analizar el arte y la sociedad por separado, los artistas (en esta exposición) confrontan el arte como un reflejo de la sociedad, posicionándose a si mismos como sus espejos”, señaló Abdulnasser Gharem, artista participante y fundador de Gharem Studio.
En un contexto donde los medios de comunicación se enfocan la intolerancia y el conflicto religioso, este grupo de artistas busca sobresaltar la diversidad que existe en América. Por medio de su arte y creaciones este colectivo sociabiliza la realidad y cultura del Medio Oriente.

Genera#ion is an art exhibition of contemporary from South Arabia that reunites a new generation of Arab artists, men and women, that has the goal of create a dialogue from town to town an a better understanding about the two nations.
This Thursday August 11th, GENERA#ION will make its third stop of the United States tour. In this occasion the exhibition will be opened in Minnesota Street Projects, the new facility of the gallery located in the ex industrial neighborhood of Dodpatch in San Francisco.
“Instead of analyzing the art and the society apart, the artists (in this exhibition) confront art as a reflection of the society, declaring themselves as their own mirrors”, appointed Abdulnasser Gharem, artist participant and founder of Gharem Studio.
In a context where the media focus on the intolerance and the religious conflict, this group of artists seeks to startle the diversity in America. Through their art and creations, this collective socialize the reality and the culture of Middle East.
