Jean “Moebius” Giraud, fue uno de los dibujantes más influyentes que han existido. El francés, nacido en 1938, es considerado un referente en el mundo de la ilustración. Sus historias, representadas generalmente en comics, exploran mundos extraños y planetas ocultos en el universo.
Su talento lo llevó a trabajar con Jodorowsky en la preproducción de Dune, una adaptación cinematográfica del libro homónimo escrito por Frank Herbert. Aunque aquel proyecto nunca vio la luz, fue la catapulta que lo llevó a trabajar en los storyboards de películas como Alien, Tron y El quinto elemento.
¿Y, qué es explicar una historia? Es entrar en parcelas de la vida de la gente, reales o imaginarias, poco importa, ya que lo imaginario es lo real trasladado y enmascarado.
