In this exhibition, the selected multidisciplinary works and resources reflect critical stances on colonial and patriarchal realities in Latin American history.
The artists seek to establish connections between the past and present through their narratives, making the invisible visible, using visual language, and taking a stance on several social issues.
Through photographic works, installations, performances, and sculptures, we are invited to reflect on the on the social, economic, and physical situation of indigenous communities, as well as on the representation of these themes in contemporary art, especially by artists belonging to those communities.
