El museo londinense Somerset House será el recinto que albergará hasta el 23 de octubre la exposición “Björk Digital”, muestra organizada por la famosa artista islandesa. En la exposición, los visitantes podrán ver obras digitales y multimedia preparadas por la música. Todos son proyectos surgieron por colaboraciones de Björk con diversos programadores y artistas visuales.
La trayectoria de la compositora y cantante se caracteriza por la experimentación y por el cuestionamiento que ella hace a los poderes fácticos a través de sus canciones. La exhibición contará con stands de realidad virtual, en instalaciones que permitirán una interacción única con las obras expuestas. Esta tecnología será usada en Mouthmantra VR, que muestra el interior de la boca de la cantante y en para que el público, y en Notget VR, que muestra a la artista como una mariposa digital que interactúa con máscaras creadas por Jamer Merry.
Una de las piezas más llamativas se llama Black Lake, un largometraje producido por Björk y dirigido por Andrew Thomas Huang, que introduce a la audiencia a vistas panorámicas de Islandia acompañadas por un sistema de audio moderno y envolvente.
Paralelamente, se celebrarán dos conciertos en Londres en septiembre.

The Museum Somerset House in London is the place that will be the home of the exhibition “Björk Digital” until October 23rd, show organized by the famous Icelandic artist. On the exhibition, the visitants will be able to see digital and multimedia works created by the musician. All these projects came from Björk’s collaboration with different programmers and visual artists.
The singer and songwriter’s trajectory is characterized by the experimentation and the questioning she makes in relation to the factual powers through her songs. The exhibition will present stands of virtual reality, in installations that will allow a unique interaction with the exhibited pieces. This technology will be used on Mouthmantra VR, which shows the interior of the singer’s mouth, and in Notget VR, that shows the artist as a digital butterfly that interacts with masks created by Jamer Merry.
One of the most striking pieces is called Black Lake, a full-length film produced by Björk and directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, who introduces the audience to panoramic views of Iceland together with a surrounding and modern audio system.
On September, two shows will be presented at the same time in London.
