Hoy en Londres Miró es la noticia. Una subasta solidaria organizada por la casa Christie’s será la encargada de otorgar una contribución adicional con las recaudaciones a la Cruz Roja, en estos momentos, a cargo de los refugiados.
La iniciativa une dos grandes incentivos y, por lo mismo, se torna un gran proyecto y una linda iniciativa. Joan Miró, pintor barcelonés, surrealista, figura de sus tiempos y, desde entonces, hasta los que corren, dentro de todas las obras que legó a la posteridad tiene las que hoy se ponen a la venta en pos de contribuir con el gran drama que viven miles de personas que se ven forzadas a cruzar las fronteras de su país y encontrar asilo en patrias vecinas para encontrar un futuro que se vea más promisorio.
Son 24 piezas del español y están avaluadas en un monto que bordea los 50.000 €. Las obras descritas pertenecen y fueron donadas en su totalidad por Joan Punyet Miró,quien junto a la Galería Mayoral están a cargo de este evento. El recorrido de las obras ha sido mundial y la subasta será complementada por la exposición de importantes obras, de Miró también, que pertenecen al mismo propietario. Entre ellas, la más conocida Gràcies / Gracias, un dibujo inspirado en honor al médico Rafael Orozco, del Hospital de la Cruz Roja en Tarragona.
Fue la Cruz Roja la escogida por una sola razón: la acogida y el respaldo a todas estas familias es indispensable. La forma de integrarlas a una forma de vida y hacerlas partícipes del país al que llegan es una ardua labor, al igual que conservar la educación de los niños.
La sesión de la tarde inicia hoy y veremos cuánto queda para todos esos inmigrantes.

The initiative covers two big incentives and, for this reason, it turns a big projects and a nice drive. Joan Miró is a Surrealist painter from Barcelona and an icon in his times. Among all the paintings leave by him, today Christie’s pawnshop is going to sell some of them to contribute with the reality lived for many people. They are forced to cross the limits of their country and find asylum in neighbor countries to had a future more promising.
There are 24 pieces from the Spanish artist valued in 50,000 € approximately. The described and donated paintings belong to Joan Punyet Miró, who is in charge of this event, in association with Mayoral Gallery. The trip of these artworks has been global. The auction will be completed with the exhibition of important Miró’s paintings. Among them, the most famous is called «Gràcies / Gracias», an inspiring drawing in honor to Dr. Rafael Orozco, from Red Cross Hospital, in Tarragona.
Red Cross was chosen for a simple reason: the asylum and the back up to all those families are indispensable. The way to integrate them to the society and make them part of the country is a hard work. Preserve children education too.
