Claudio Muñoz, Mario Lagos, Caiozzama, Javier Barriga, Mario Soro, Piedad Donoso, Pablo Espinoza, Totoy Zamudio y más, estarán presentes en la quinta versión de FAXXI que se celebra este fin de semana en la misma locación de siempre: el Parque Bicentenario de Vitacura. La feria anual, esta vez contará con la participación de los artistas que mencionados, a quienes podrás encontrar para conversar sobre sus trabajos, sus investigaciones, y conocerlos personalmente. La recepción de visitantes servirá como instancia para interactuar con el público, mostrarse a sí mismos y sus obra y explicar las motivaciones de sus últimas producciones.
Múltiples disciplinas y técnicas de artistas contemporáneos colmarán este espacio durante tres días para exponer lo mejor del arte chileno. Compartirán lugar con 120 artistas en total y juntos participarán de una de las múltiples iniciativas del ámbito cultural que acerca, en este caso el arte, a la gente, poniendo sobre el tapete el estado actual del arte en nuestro país y creando oportunidades como charlas y talleres gratuitos para complementar la exposición compartida.
NUESTROS ARTISTAS Y QUÉ VER
- Totoy Zamudio: Con una experiencia que lo avala y el favor de la crítica, el espectador y el aficionado, Totoy propone un arte consolidado, una auténtica marca y una distintiva creación, hoy reconocible en galerías, ferias y museos no sólo a nivel nacional. Su trayectoria le ha llevado a exponer colectiva e individualmente en Museos como el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes; ferias internacionales como Arte Ba e innumerables veces en las mejores galerías de nuestro país.
- Caiozzama: Fotógrafo que trabaja temas reconocibles mundialmente, tales como el medio ambiente, redes sociales, política, transgénicos, entre otros. Ha expuesto tanto dentro como fuera de Chile, siendo una de sus exposiciones más importantes la de El Tate Modern de Londres con la exposición my culture museumen. La obra de este artista se caracteriza por ser intervención urbana, la cual es retratada en diversas etapas desde su creación hasta los rayados casuales que hace la gente que circula cotidianamente al rededor de ella.
- Javier Barriga: Furor del último tiempo, el talentosísimo artista chileno, trabaja el realismo en su máximo esplendor. Sus obras en macro y micro formato revelan un cuidadoso y prolijo trabajo pictórico en el que cada pincelada imprime su dejo sensible y su mirada aguda. Últimamente, ha sido noticia en los medios de comunicación chilenos por el mural que pintó en el centro de Santiago con la obra Ganza que presentamos.
- Piedad Donoso: Lo de esta artista es la expresión artística. A través del collage y la manipulación de las imágenes consigue crear mundos y proyectar ideas sobre el papel, que conducen y guían al espectador a presenciar una línea de pensamiento. Haciendo uso de la técnica mixta Piedad se pasea por los distintos tópicos del arte acudiendo principalmente a su vínculo con la memoria.

The annual exhibition will have the participation of mentioned artist who you can find to talk with them about their works, investigations, and to know them personally. With the visit of spectator will be possible to interactive with public, to show themselves and their works, and to explain the motivations of their last productions.
A plethora of disciplines and techniques of contemporaneous artists will full this space during 3 days to exhibit the best of Chilean art. Sharing a place with a total of 120 artists and together will participate of one of multiples initiatives of cultural topic that get close art to people, discussing openly the actual reality of art in our country, creating opportunities as conversations and free workshop to complement the shared exposition.
OUR ARTISTS AND WHAT TO SEE
•Totoy Zamudio: With an experience that supports him and the favor of critique, spectator and admirer, Totoy proposes a consolidated art, an authentic blend and other creation, today recognizable in galleries, workshops, and museums not only in our country. With his trajectory he has achieved to exhibit individually and collective in Museums as Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes; international workshops as Arte Ba and many times in the best galleries of our country.
•Caiozzama: Photographer that works recognizable topics globally, such as environment, social networks, politics, transgenic, among others. He has exhibit in Chile and outside of it, one of his most important works is El Tate Modern in London with the exhibition of my culture museum. The work of this artist is characterized by his urban intervention, which is showed in various eras from his creation to casual ruling that is created by people that walk every day around it.
•Javier Barriga: He is the rage of the last time, a great Chilean artist who works realism in its heyday. His works in macro and micro format shows a careful and a prolix pictorial work in which any brush stroke shows his sensibility and his intense look. In the last time he has been new in the Chilean mass media thanks the mural that he painted in the center of Santiago with the work Ganza that we present now.
•Piedad Donoso: Artistic expression is of this artist. Through collage and manipulation of images, she creates worlds and projects ideas on paper that conduct and guide spectator to see a line of thought, making use of the mixture technique, Piedad presents different topics of art, principally her link with memory.
