Hace algunos días, en Santiago de Chile, se rindió honores y se levantaron las flores, los globos y discursos para celebrar el día que conmemora a la mujer. En el marco de esta celebración, intendencias, municipios y el gobierno en general, abocaron sus intereses en realizar una serie de actividades culturales y participativas, para que la comunidad completa pudiese disfrutar de este día en familia y que no fuese excluyente, de manera de congregar a toda la comunidad.
Una de estas grandes iniciativas la llevó a cabo el artista Alejandro, Mono, González, quien utilizó toda la fachada de un antiguo edificio del centro de Santiago para que su imaginación y técnica fluyeran con libertad inspirados por un solo concepto: la mujer. Sin embargo, muchos dicen que una obra nunca está terminada hasta tener un título que la represente y la limite dentro de un marco contemplativo que oriente al espectador en la forma de percibirlo.
Es por eso que hoy las redes sociales han vuelto su mirada a quienes han ido a contemplarlo o ya sabes de él por fotos para que echen un empujoncito y contribuyan con la culminación de esta macro obra: denominarlo…. ponerle nombre.

EL MURAL
Es un colorido y enérgico mural. Puede verse desde algunas cuadras de lejanía por su altura y tamaño. Su autor Alejandro ‘Mono’ González, artista y escenógrafo chileno, reconocido por sus trabajos en murales con temática social. Siempre con colores de aguda intensidad, el artista trabaja sobre losmuros directamente, dejando fluir su corriente de conciencia basado siempre en un tema específico que le acompaña en la realización de la obra de principio a fin.
En este caso, la premisa fue representar la esencia de la mujer y su lucha diaria por lograr la igualdad de género que tanto merecen. A su disposición un alto muro de edificación antigua en la Plaza de Bolsillo (Morandé #83). Algunos ojos se esconden tras la naturaleza, el híbrido de un escenario plurisensorial se manifiesta en su esplendor cuando aparecen los colores y comienzan a adquirir una intensidad innegable. Una naturaleza originaria que se mezcla con el rostro de antepasados y aves que declaman por la libertad. Así homenajeó este gran exponente del street art y muralismo a las mujeres de Chile.

On the framework of this celebration, intendants, municipalities, and the Government in general terms, focus their concerns to do a series of cultural and participatory activities, thus, the community could enjoy this day in family. These activities were not selective as their purpose was to gather the entire community.
One of the most important initiatives was led by the artist Alejandro, Mono, González – who used the facade of an old building in Santiago’s downtown to express his imagination and technic inspired by only one concept: women. However, it is said that a work is not finished until it has a title that represents and delimits it within a contemplative theme that guide the spectator’s way of perceiving it.
