La artista pakistaní trabaja con las sombras. La luz y la forma en que ella proyecta sombras en todo un espacio cerrado consigue que un cubo de metal tallado, se proyecte en todo el espacio circundante, consiguiendo una obra que todo lo llena, que todo lo abarca.
Inspirada en su afición por los patrones y los templos islámicos, Anila construye un cubo preparado para recibir la luz, listo para proyectarse y extenderse hasta el infinito. Todo surgió con la visita que la pakistaní hizo a La Alahambra, el gran templo de influencias arábigas situado en la ciudad de Granada, España. Allí surgió la idea de proyectar y hacer de estos estampados algo grande, sin límites.

By means of a metallic engraved cube, shapes of different forms are projected in all surrounding space, turning this work into an element that fills everything, that covers everything.
Inspired by her fondness for patterns and Islamic temples, Anila built a cube ready to receive light, ready to project itself to the infinite. Everything started when she visited the Alhambra, the temple of Arabic influences located in Granada city, Spain. There, the idea of project and stamping something big and limitless was created.
