Continuando con el tema de la lucha contra la polución que mantiene a la población China ocupada y sumergida en una situación de riesgo en nuestro días, muchos artistas reaccionan desde su profesión, de tal manera de poder contribuir con difundir un mensaje que mantenga a la población consciente y comprometida con la tarea de intentar combatirla, aunque este resultado se proyecte a largo plazo. Es el caso del artista Wang Renzheng
En China, los estudios indican que la suciedad del aire cobra la vida de más de 4.400 personas diarias. Siguiendo la idea de Kong Ning y sus trajes de novia con mascarillas anti-polución, algunos exponentes del arte en ese país usan tarros llenos de aire puro, ladrillos llenos de polvo flotante en el aire, entre otros.
“Quiero conseguir que se deje de esconder el problema, que cada vez más gente le dé importancia y actúe, que se deje de fingir que no lo ven”, explica Wang Renzheng, artista conceptual de 34 años al medio ABC.
Este joven artista aspiró un poco de contaminación durante cien días con una máquina especial. El resultado le valió recoger 100 gramos de polvo. “Fue impresionante. El filtro de la aspiradora estaba completamente negro”.
Luego del polvo recogido fabricó un “ladrillo de contaminación”. Como símbolo, exhibe la separación que la suciedad ambiental provoca entre la naturaleza y el ser humano.
