M\u00e1s a\u00fan si hablamos de su inicio radial en 1996 en la emisora 94.1 de Santiago, el cual caus\u00f3 pronta popularidad entre la audiencia, expectante por escuchar las confesiones sentimentales an\u00f3nimas de diferentes chilenos y chilenas durante la tarde.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Trailer &quot;Chacotero Sentimental&quot;\" width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W9SGP3G6jHg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, tras verla veinte a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, la pel\u00edcula result\u00f3 ser un ejercicio de memoria hacia el Chile del nuevo milenio, aquel en donde no se hablaba de manera p\u00fablica acerca de sexo y de las relaciones de pareja. Los temas eran otros: la transici\u00f3n a la democracia, la globalizaci\u00f3n y el auge del internet influyeron en la forma de entender y consumir los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n de la \u00e9poca y sus noticias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aquello fue la principal raz\u00f3n del \u00e9xito del programa radial: los chilenos estaban aburridos de escuchar lo mismo todos los d\u00edas. Tambi\u00e9n de ver las mismas historias pol\u00edticas y densas del cine nacional de la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, siendo un escenario perfecto para <strong>El Chacotero Sentimental<\/strong> y su comedia simple y directa.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><strong>Te podr\u00eda interesar<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/2019\/01\/24\/andrea-giunta-el-arte-que-se-gesta-en-friccion-con-lo-que-no-puede-ser-pronunciado-es-mas-perdurable-y-efectivo-que-el-arte-que-lo-dice-todo\/\">Andrea Giunta: \u201cEl arte que se gesta en fricci\u00f3n con lo que no puede ser pronunciado, es m\u00e1s perdurable y efectivo que el arte que lo dice todo\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/2019\/01\/18\/reinos-flashbacks-millennials\/\">Reinos | Flashbacks millennials<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tres relatos son los escogidos para dar cuenta de la din\u00e1mica de este espacio, en donde dos hombres y una mujer cuentan sus historias. Entre las risas y la tragedia, los protagonistas se desnudan frente al Rumpy, quien opina y aconseja de manera express bajo frases como &#8220;chicotea los caracoles&#8221; o &#8220;te vamos a ponerte un tema&#8221; para cerrar la conversaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Catalogado como una &#8220;radiograf\u00eda a la sociedad chilena&#8221;, el film de Galaz recorre temas prohibidos pero al mismo tiempo naturalizados entre la audiencia, como la idea del &#8220;patas negras&#8221; o los problemas de intimidad entre una pareja de bajo estrato social que no tienen un espacio privado para compartir. Tambi\u00e9n es curioso pensar que historias as\u00ed ser\u00edan mal miradas en la actualidad, donde los roles de g\u00e9nero se han cuestionado y la mujer se ha empoderado: por ejemplo, el personaje de Pablo Macaya estar\u00eda siendo juzgado por obligar a su pareja a tener sexo aunque ella no quiera.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_68387\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/marcela_3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-68387\" class=\"size-full wp-image-68387\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/marcela_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-68387\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Marcela Espinoza y Tamara Acosta, actrices de la tercera historia de &#8220;El Chacotero Sentimental&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La segunda historia titulada &#8220;Secretos&#8221;, en donde se relata una relaci\u00f3n incestuosa entre un padre y su hija, aborda un nivel m\u00e1s all\u00e1: una tragedia que bordea lo bizarro, en donde la madre de esta hija termina suicid\u00e1ndose ante el asco y la verg\u00fcenza de la traici\u00f3n. Lo sorprendente es que El Rumpy trata muy ligeramente a la auditora a trav\u00e9s del tel\u00e9fono, siendo tambi\u00e9n reflejo de una sociedad que no est\u00e1 dispuesta a ver y preocuparse sobre estos actos de violencia y que prefiere ocultarlos bajo la alfombra. Todos quieren escuchar historias apasionantes y prohibidas de otros, pero nadie se cuestiona si dichas relaciones est\u00e1n bajo el consentimiento mutuo, eso arruina la experiencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finalmente, <strong>El Chacotero Sentimental<\/strong>, como cualquier otro producto cultural, responde al contexto hist\u00f3rico y social en el cual se desenvuelve. No podemos examinar esta cinta bajo los est\u00e1ndares actuales, ni por su contenido ni por su calidad. Sin embargo, una cosa es innegable: este fen\u00f3meno dio pie a una ola de cintas chilenas con tem\u00e1ticas similares que revitaliz\u00f3 nuestra filmograf\u00eda, logrando que los chilenos comunes y corrientes, lejos del \u00e1mbito cultural, quisieran apostar por el cine nacional.<\/p>\n[:en]<strong>Based in the radial program \u201cRumpy\u201d Artiagoit\u00eda, the film by Cristi\u00e1n Galaz was a landmark in the Chilean cinema: eight hundreds people assisted to the movie theaters in 1999 to watch in the screen the most popular sexual stories of the Rock &#038; Pop program, turning it in the fifth most seen Chilean move in history and which triggered a boom of national productions as Taxi para Tres (2001) and Sexo con Amor (2003).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is difficult to write about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccplm.cl\/sitio\/el-chacotero-sentimental\/\"><strong>El Chacotero Sentimental<\/strong><\/a> and his impact in the Chilean society when I was barely four years for its release in the big screen. Even more if we talk about its radial beginning in 1996 in 94.1 station in Santiago, which soon was popular among the audience that were expectant to hear anonymous sentimental confessions of different Chilean people at noon.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Trailer &quot;Chacotero Sentimental&quot;\" width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W9SGP3G6jHg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>However, after seeing it twenty years later, the film turned out to be an exercise of memory towards the Chile of the new millennium, the one where there was no public talk about sex and relationships between couples. The topics were different: the transition to democracy, globalization and the rise of the Internet influenced the way of understanding and consuming the media of the time and its news.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That was the main reason for the success of the radio program: the Chileans were bored of hearing the same thing every day, also to see the same political and dense histories of the national cinema of the last decade, being a perfect scenario for <strong>El Chacotero Sentimental<\/strong> and his simple and direct comedy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\"><strong>You might be interested<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/2019\/01\/24\/andrea-giunta-el-arte-que-se-gesta-en-friccion-con-lo-que-no-puede-ser-pronunciado-es-mas-perdurable-y-efectivo-que-el-arte-que-lo-dice-todo\/\">Andrea Giunta: \u201cEl arte que se gesta en fricci\u00f3n con lo que no puede ser pronunciado, es m\u00e1s perdurable y efectivo que el arte que lo dice todo\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/2019\/01\/18\/reinos-flashbacks-millennials\/\">Reinos | Flashbacks millennials<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Three stories are chosen to give an account of the dynamics of this space, where two men and a woman tell their stories. Between the laughter and the tragedy, the protagonists get naked in front of the Rumpy, who thinks and advises expressly under phrases such as &#8220;chicotea los caracoles&#8221; or &#8221; te vamos a ponerte un tema &#8221; to close the conversation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cataloged as an &#8220;X-ray to Chilean society&#8221;, Galaz&#8217;s film covers forbidden but at the same time naturalized topics among the audience, such as the idea of \u200b\u200b&#8221;patas negras&#8221; or the problems of intimacy between a couple of low social strata who do not have a private space to share. It is also curious to think that such stories would be bad looks today, where gender roles have been questioned and women have empowered themselves: for example, the character of Pablo Macaya would be judged for forcing his partner to have sex even though she unwilling.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_68387\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/marcela_3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-68387\" class=\"size-full wp-image-68387\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arteallimite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/marcela_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-68387\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Marcela Espinoza and Tamara Acosta, actress of the third story of &#8220;El Chacotero Sentimental&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The second story entitled &#8220;Secrets&#8221;, which tells an incestuous relationship between a father and his daughter, addresses a level beyond: a tragedy that borders on the bizarre, where the mother of this daughter ends up committing suicide in the face of disgust and shame of betrayal. The surprising thing is that Rumpy treats auditors very lightly over the telephone, also reflecting a society that is not willing to see and worry about these acts of violence and prefers to hide them under the carpet. Everyone wants to hear passionate and forbidden stories from others, but nobody questions whether these relationships are under mutual consent, that ruins the experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, <strong>El Chacotero Sentimental<\/strong>, like any other cultural product, responds to the historical and social context in which it develops. We can not examine this tape under current standards, neither for its content nor for its quality.
