Aquella audici\u00f3n en Berl\u00edn, durante 2016, acert\u00f3 con las dos sopranos que interpretan los roles principales. S\u00ed, porque en Norma, Pollione, el romano causante de la dicha y desdicha de la hero\u00edna, no se roba el protagonismo como suele ocurrir en las tragedias. El ventanal moderno del templo de Irminsul deja ver las columnas romanas del edificio pr\u00f3ximo. Un juego del tiempo que nos enfatiza que Norma pas\u00f3 y, al mismo tiempo, \u00a0se perpet\u00faa en el espacio como una figura eterna que es capaz de sonre\u00edrle a su destino tr\u00e1gico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Norma, no Medea<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al principio del segundo acto vemos a <strong>Norma en su habitaci\u00f3n, en la cama sus dos ni\u00f1os duermen pl\u00e1cidamente, sin imaginar que la almohada en las manos de su madre ser\u00e1 usada para intentar asfixiarlos.<\/strong> Es que su mente es atormentada por el deseo de venganza del hombre que ha sido capaz de seducir a otra sacerdotisa y que no solo ha dejado de amarla, sino tambi\u00e9n corrompi\u00f3 a Adalgisa, otra de las devotas de Irminsul. Norma est\u00e1 entre el amor por el padre de sus hijos, Pollione, y su deber como sacerdotisa, hija del gran druida Oroveso; entre el despecho y su amor de madre; entre su venganza y la culpa de haber pecado. Norma decide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde varios frentes la tragedia de Norma cobra forma y sentido. La sacerdotisa tiene todo en contra, lo \u00fanico que tienen a su favor es su amor, inconmensurable amor que no le permite desatar un ba\u00f1o de sangre.<strong> Es que no es la Medea parricida, rabiando y maldiciendo a todos los que causaron su dolor al traicionarla, es Norma, que prefiere confesar sus propias faltas antes que desquitarse con la joven Adalgisa, a quien no culpa de enamorarse de Pollione.<\/strong> En su reciente visita a la Universidad de Santiago la fil\u00f3sofa Silvia Federici dec\u00eda que la mejor respuesta de las mujeres a las agresiones de su entorno hacia las mismas mujeres \u2013y por extensi\u00f3n a los hombres- es fortalecer el tejido social. A esto apunta la inmolaci\u00f3n de Norma, ella valora la forma en que su sacrificio puede mantener la tradici\u00f3n de su pueblo de castigar a las sacerdotisas que rompen sus votos y, adem\u00e1s, al entregarse ella como amante de Pollione y callar sobre Adalgisa, tambi\u00e9n alecciona a los espectadores sobre los l\u00edmites de una venganza pasional. Pollione as\u00ed lo entiende y la admira. Esta admiraci\u00f3n es motivo de regocijo para Norma.
