The work consists of a performative action that recreates the outline of the disputed triangular stretch of land between Chile and Peru, using saltpeter and a chalker along the border of both countries. The challenge emerges upon reaching the sea, where the ever-changing tide continuously erases the line, forcing it to be redrawn again and again. This repetitive act transforms into an obsessive and absurd task, revealing the futility of imposing a fixed border in an environment that is in constant motion.<\/p>\n
This performance took place at the border and came to an abrupt end when the participants were detained by Peruvian border patrol and subsequently removed from the area.<\/p>\n
