Many of his pieces are intertwined by using moving elements that bounce from one point to another, hitting the edges of the frames. The point represents a unit, a focus point that attracts our attention.<\/p>\n

In these pieces, points covering different areas of space are joined by invisible lines. The works take on another dimension due to the presence of several moving points.<\/p>\n

The use of analog TVs is tied to Jos\u00e9 Wolff and their emotional significance in his personal and artistic development, as he grew up watching them.<\/p>\n

When he graduated from his digital art studies in 1998, his digital art pieces were in analog TV format. It wasn’t until the mid-2000s that HDTV became more widely available.<\/p>\n

In Imperio \/ How It’s Going<\/i>, he returns to analog TV.\u00a0 After an invitation to participate in a group sample dealing with the theme of everyday life, Jos\u00e9 Wolff was drawn to creating a work of points due to their contemplative nature. Only this time he did it while reflecting on the events of 2024 \u2013the images of genocide, flames, destruction, and death that flooded his social media. Feeling the intensity of the flames, he recalled the illusion of the veil in The Emperor\u2019s New Clothes, envisioning an empire engulfed in fire\u2014much like the contrast in the meme \u201cHow it started \/ How it’s going.\u201d Inspired by this, he created this artwork, which also connects to his beginnings, where a simple, white, smooth point (\u201chow it started\u201d) moved back and forth. The result was a burning, flaming point (\u201chow it’s going\u201d).<\/p>\n
