Yoko Ono is a visual artist, singer and activist. Recently, she has announced that she is going to release a new album defending her constant fight for peace.
The name of the album is “Warzone” and it will be available for sell in October 19th, 2018. The goal of the album is to revise some songs written in the 70s with her life companion and deceased husband, John Lennon.

Yoko is 85 years old now and she couldn’t be more active. She does not want to stop working in future artworks. Actually, she already wants to release a second album! In Yoko Ono’s official statement, she claims that “she is still willing to change the world.”
The New Yorker worked the 13 songs of her album together with her son, Sean Ono Lennon (the only child of her marriage). The album adds a new version of the song “New York Rock,” 1994, which talks about her life with the former member of The Beatles.
Yoko grew up in Tokyo and New York and her musical career was at its peak when she met Lennon, and she became in his second wife. In the couple’s honeymoon, they protested against the Vietnam War in an action from their bed. Their relationship was known for their musical and artistic hits and their peaceful actions until the death of John Lennon in 1980.
The album also has Yoko Ono’s artistic representations related to conceptual art.
