The National Museum of Fine Arts of Chile (MNBA, by its Spanish acronym) invites the community to participate in the 12th version of the call for Portraits of Memory, to send their old family photographs (1890 – 1990) in digital format during the month of March. A selection of these images will be on display at the Museum in an exhibition opening on Heritage Day.
What did people do in their spare time? The possibilities are many and the idea behind this year’s theme is to have as varied a sample as possible. Recreational activities, panoramas, games, hobbies or walks; they can be inside or outside the home, alone or accompanied.
This is the 12th version of Portraits of Memory, a call that invites the public to send in digital format their old photographs, either in black and white or in color, taken between 1890 and 1990. Among the photographs received, the MNBA will make a selection of 200 images, which will be part of an exhibition that will be inaugurated on May 27, Heritage Day.
