Sarah was born and raised in Hong Kong. She graduated in Fine Arts at the Central Saint Martins College in London in 2009.
In 2011, Sarah was named the winner of “40 Under 40” by Perspective Magazine of Asia, a selection of 40 artists with an important international career, less than 40 years old. In this way, she consolidated her artistic career as one of the most outstanding artists under 40 years of age in Asia.
She also participated in several residency projects on the Asian continent, where the artist has her studio, materials and the comforts to produce work in a certain time sharing the residence with other artists.
Sarah’s works were also exhibited at numerous international art fairs, so they gradually became part of large collections.
Sarah’s elaborate pencil drawings and themes include nature, childhood memories, personal travels, dreams and images of square robots, innocent forest creatures and sensual blooming roses.
In addition, Sarah loves to draw on white walls, which she considers a canvas that lacks the vulnerability of paper, but with a different quality being a vital element.
In 2016, Sarah developed a mobile application with French interactive designer Remi Engel. Using technology, the public can see his paintings coming to life through vision and sound, breaking with the traditional way of looking at a flat painting through technology.
She currently lives and works in New York.
