Designer as profession Jon Jacobsen has found in Arts a way to reach his own expressive language. His work is characterized by mixing technological and photographic languages with the pictorial one in work that reflects transfigured human beings immersed in a gesture meditation. Through the appropriation of the new media, Jacobsen achieves a dramatic style with an individual character.
“There are some prejudices against Digital Art, but we are in a process of acceptance, more respected and better positioned in the media. It reminds me when photography appears, and painting was against this discipline. I’m not afraid of people that paint in a digital tablet, because it also has accuracy, pressure, etc. They are other determining factors that follow the same pattern.” – Job Jacobsen.
