The headquarters of Parque Forestal park at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) will be the place where is organized the graphic art Impresionarte. The event will be carried out between 7 and 9 of October and it will be the first in its kind in Chile. In charge of the organization there is La Nueva Gráfica Chilena collective and Vortex Editorial.
Attendees are 50 exhibitors from Latin America with more than 100 editorial projects. Impresionarte, that is part of the Design Month of the National Council of Culture and the Arts (CNCA) has as main objective open the design world to the general public. Fanzines, engraving, books and other types of publications will be the focus of reflection to the exhibitors and attendees.
After a call process made during July and August in Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Peru, was selected 50 participants. Besides them will attend to the meeting diverse guests, who will make their own conferences. Among them, there are the Catalan David Quiles and the Brazilian Bia Bittencourt. As well as, works of Cecilia Vicuña and Guillermo Deissler could be appreciated.
