Nahuel Tupac Losada makes fragmented realities and heterogeneous through collages that encloses in itself a multitude of inter and supra-textual references. Images of a divided contemporary culture that finds its identity in multiplicity and subjectivity, it is with a postmodern language that Tupac Losada creates, recycles and interprets diverse icons of the modernity.
The Spanish-Argentinian artist uses methods as the pastiche, irony, parody and other rhetoric figures in order to transmit a message that is supported in the saturation and weariness to cause an impact on the observer. Images that can result shocking and uncomfortable, it function as a testimony of the modern and prevailing idiosyncrasy of the disposable.
