It is extremly thin, fragile and malleable. Its fine composition turns it into a challenging and dominant material. Paper here is not reffered to as a form of support or as a recipient of artistic material, but it is mentioned as the own composer of a work of art. Many have experimented with it, and even though it is not asociated to a clasic technique of a very extense data, what it is known is that the practical demand that it involves turns it into a very noble and complex material to approach a subject.
The common belief tends to associate it with the micro format because of the long work process of the material and because the cuts involve a special precision, the paste can not be done with an specailly firm material because it could degrade, and so a series of practical applications turns it into a material astonishingly flexible and at the same time complex and demanding.
