El discurso de la expresión de Samuel Salcedo

Some call it a work of mirrors because feelings are reflected in a non-verbal speech, a place where the saying “A picture is worth a thousand words” is clearly seen. A lovable and appealing work for human eyes because it demands a spontaneous empathy.

It does not demand an arduous reflection to understand it. The persuasive speech and the message come after and address the viewer’s experience: the affective reaction to these faces of displeasure, sadness, satiation, disgust, and more. Samuel is a sculptor from Barcelona. He works with micro and macro formats. His snowball-shape sculptures are circular, full of feelings, memories, and gestures.
